Our Dentist - Dr. Haddad
Dr. Ramzi Haddad graduated from the Royal Dental Hospital
in London, England in 1982. He subsequently completed his
Fellowship in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons
of Edinburgh. He worked in various hospitals before moving
to Canada and starting his own practice as a general dentist.
Since then, he has received various training in the fields
of implant dentistry and has become a fellow of the International
Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has also become
a Las Vegas Institute (LVI) graduate completing the Advanced
Aesthetic and Comprehensive Aesthetic Reconstruction courses
in cosmetic dentistry. He received training in Neuromuscular
Occlusion and treatment of TMJ pain also from LVI.
His extensive training has allowed Dr. Haddad
to treat patients in a more comprehensive manner where the
teeth and the mouth are looked at as a part of the whole
body. A fundamental understanding of neuromuscular occlusion
of how the teeth, joints and muscle should function together
in harmony, is a prerequisite to reconstruction of the teeth
and the whole mouth. With the training in implant dentistry,
he not only has the understanding, but the skills and the
ability to restore a whole mouth reconstruction.
Dr. Haddad provides various oral surgery procedures such
as removal of wisdom teeth, dental implant placement, and
other restorative procedures under sedation, so the treatment
received is as pleasant as can be in a dental office. He
believes in comprehensive dental treatment, but emphasizes
education. He believes in presenting as much knowledge to
patients to enable them to have the confidence in making
their own decisions and therefore contributing to the treatment
plan and the final result.
